Family Support Network of Eastern North Carolina provides emotional support and
resource information to families of children with disabilities, chronic illness,
premature birth and to parents who have experienced the death of a child. |
Volunteer Opportunities | ||
| Mostly special event volunteers needed, but students who need to complete volunteer hours for course requirements can usually be accommodated. Volunteer opportunities are flexible, hours and scheduling will be tailored to the individual. | ||

Parent Training | TO BE ANNOUNCED | |
| Parents who have shown positive coping skills are invited to attend a Support Parent Training to learn to effectively listen to attend a Support Parent Training to learn to effectively listen to other families in a similar situation. 88% of parents that have been matched with another parent have said that it was very beneficial to talk with another parent. One, they know they aren't the only ones in the situation, and two parents can share tips on parenting, and information about other Human Service Agencies. | ||
