Angel Boberg Webb Memorial Scholarship – East Carolina University

Angel Boberg Webb

Angel Boberg Webb

The Angel Boberg Webb Memorial Scholarship is for an East Carolina University upcoming senior going into Special Education.  The award amount is $1000 per year ($500 per semester).

Angel Boberg Webb was a 1998 graduate of East Carolina University and taught special education before being diagnosed with cancer.  Angel passed away in June 2008, at the age of 31, nine years after her diagnosis.  Throughout her illness, Angel remained dedicated to children, wanting to see every child be given an opportunity to succeed in school.  As an ongoing legacy to her dream the Family Support Network of Eastern North Carolina set up the Angel Boberg Webb Memorial Scholarship.
