I have been with Family Support Network of Eastern North Carolina for
approximately 3 years as Parent Coordinator and Smart Steps Coordinator for
Martin County. This has been made possible through a Martin Pitt Partnership
grant. Over the years I have had the pleasure to meet many families who are
very special and important to me. As a mother of twin daughters with special
needs I can somewhat relate to what the families are going through and I am
very familiar with the services available to help families. I am the type of
person that takes your problems and situations to heart and if I don't know
that answers I will find out for you. My daughter Madison has multiple
diagnosis, the main one being Angelman's Syndrome. We started out with Early
Intervention and have moved onto CAPP-MR/DD so we have been in the system for
awhile. My other daughter Ashlynn has ADHD and a Mood Disorder so we have
been dealing with the system with CBS Services and Case Management. We have
overcome many miles stones and that is why I am here. I want to help you
learn about services that will enable you to overcome your many miles stones
and realize you are not in this alone.
